Pediatric First Aid and CPR-  A comprehensive 4 hour long course covering:

  • Child Safety and Accident Prevention
  • Primary Assessment – Recognize Respiratory Distress in baby or child
  • Prevention of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome
  • Learn first aid for a baby or child who is unresponsive and breathing (Skills Practice on Recovery Position)
  • Learn first aid for a baby or child/adult who is choking( Skills Practice on manikins)
  • Performing High-Quality CPR for a baby, child and adult (Skills Practice on manikins)
  • CPR for drowning victim
  • Learn first aid for a baby or child who has:-
    • Severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis), using an epinephrine pen
    • Febrile Convulsions
    • Swallowed Poisons
    • Head Injury – Burns or scalds
    • Bleeding, Wound care, Nosebleed
    • Soft Tissue Injuries and Broken Bone
